THE ESTHER SCHOLARSHIP

Project Gillette Foundation

We understand the economic challenges facing 2020 graduates during a global pandemic and financial crisis. There’s a lot of uncertainty that exists, this one-time scholarship of 1,000 is meant to reduce some of the financial burden that comes with the upstart cost of a student headed into their first year of post-secondary education. 
This scholarship is in loving memory of Esther Eubanks, Alfonso's mother. May she continue to rest in perfect peace.

Eligibility:

  • Must be entering an accredited institution (university, community college, technical school, coding bootcamp etc) and able to show proof of enrollment for the 22-23 academic term. 

  • Graduate of Shroder High School ℅ 2023

  • Write an essay of 500 words or less explaining how the pandemic has impacted your plans for post-secondary education and what you intend on doing with the funds.

  • Send in a photo of you and your parents or guardians and explain why you’re thankful for that person.
